About Boodle Fight / 001

The Food Is Authentic. The Politics Definitely Aren't.

Filipino food to fight over! Boodle Fight celebrates the food, hospitality and humour of the Philippines. Around the restaurant, portraits and notorious lines associated with Imelda Marcos are used to poke fun at vanity, power and extravagant excess. It is satire, not nostalgia—and a reminder that good food and ordinary people outlast bad leaders.

Section 01

Filipino Hospitality

Filipino cooking is generous by nature. We bring that spirit to Stirchley with sharing plates, bold flavours and a warm welcome for first-time diners and Filipino guests alike.

Section 02

Satire With Purpose

Our humour punches up at power, corruption, vanity and excess. It never targets victims, poverty, ethnicity or ordinary Filipino people—and it stays out of essential information like allergens, accessibility and booking terms.
